“I hope that kids coming into Central see
the caliber of program that you have put together and
have the desire to be a part of a unique experience
that is truly once in a lifetime.”

“Coach Wiggins not only made me a better soccer player,
but he helped show me how to be a better leader.
Through his guidance, the other captains of the team
and I learned how to take responsibility, not only for
when the team did well, but for when we fell.
He helped teach us that games aren’t just won on the
field, they’re won in practice and preparation.
I still remember waking up early on days before big
games to inspect the opposing team’s field and strategize
for the next day. I am truly grateful for the time I
was able to have on the Hinsdale Central soccer team
under the guidance of Coach Wiggins. I can only
hope that future generations of student/athletes at
Hinsdale Central will take advantage of the opportunity
of playing on such a great team.”

“Playing soccer for Hinsdale Central was one of the
greatest times of my young life. The camaraderie and
friendships I gained throughout my 4 years in the program
is something that I will always cherish. I was lucky
enough to be a part of Coach Wiggins' first senior class
at Hinsdale Central. I also was lucky enough to score
the first annual "Goal of the Year" against Coach’s
former team, Downers Grove South. As captain of the
2002 conference championship team, I got to work closely
with Coach, and first hand got to see what a special
coach, and person he is. He inherited a team that had
been together for years, and took over for a coach who
had been with the program for many, many years. Through
his amazing attitude, leadership, and work ethic, Coach
Wiggins took our team to the next level and got us all
to follow one common goal. Playing for Hinsdale Central,
and Coach Wiggins was an experience I will always remember
and cherish.

“During the summer we all kind of got together and wanted
to do something special this year (2006). We wanted
to be remembered as a good class, a good group of seniors
who made an impact on the program, and I think we did.”
~Brian Collins, Hinsdale Captain (2005 & 2006)
