ABOUT HIGH COUNTRY SOCCER ASSOC.

High Country Soccer Association is an affiliated member club of the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association.  HCSA’s purpose is to promote the growth and development of youth soccer in the High Country and help players of all levels reach their full potential.  HCSA is a travel soccer club but in recent years has developed many local youth programs including; a recreational league, young beginner classes, summer camps, and winter training. HCSA draws players from an ever growing region, now including Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Caldwell, Watauga, Wilkes and Yancey counties in North Carolina as well as the states of Tennessee and Virginia.

HCSA is managed and operated by a volunteer Board of Directors, a Director of Coaching, and an Office Manager.  The Board of Directors is composed of parent volunteers who each bring unique skill sets to the management of the club.  The Director of Coaching designs the club’s philosophy, and oversees the coaching staff and development of players and teams.  The Office Manager assists the Board of Directors and the Director of Coaching with day-to-day operations of the club.
